Disposable vs Refillable Vapes: What's Right for You?

Every week someone walks in and asks the same question: "Should I buy another disposable or finally get a real device?" The honest answer is that both are valid — it depends entirely on how you use them.
Disposables: convenience wins
Modern disposables like Lost Mary, Off-Stamp, and Geek Bar are engineered to be idiot-proof. You open the box, you vape, you toss it when it dies. No coils to change, no juice to buy, no charger to lose. For travel, for a night out, or for someone testing whether they even like vaping, they're excellent.
The tradeoff is cost per puff. A quality disposable runs $15–25 and delivers roughly a week of moderate use. Do the math over a year and you'll spend $500+.
Refillable pod systems: the middle ground
Pod systems (think Vaporesso Xros, SMOK Novo) split the difference. You buy the device once ($20–40), then swap $3–5 pods and refill them with nic salt e-liquid. Same throat hit, same convenience factor, roughly 1/5th the ongoing cost of disposables.
Mods and RDAs: for the enthusiast
If you want massive clouds, custom flavor, and total control, sub-ohm mods and rebuildable atomizers are their own world. Longer learning curve, bigger initial spend, but people who go this route rarely come back.
Flavor is not equal
This surprises people. High-end refillable devices deliver noticeably more nuanced flavor than disposables, because the coils are fresh and the juice is uncompromised by long shelf storage. If flavor matters to you, refillables win.
